Twitter Tells Users To Stop Posting Instagram Links

Twitter sent a message to its most influential users suggesting them not to post Instagram link in their messages.

As reported by Mashable, there's a difference between sharing an Instagram link and posting a photo directly through Twitter. Indeed,  the images would no longer appear in-line on the Twitter feed, but simply show as an Instagram.com link and push the user to the website for viewing. 

Instagram photos have not been viewable within tweets since 2012.
