Snapchat Launched Discover And QR Code

In its latest update, Snapchat launched its Discover information service and contact request QR Code called Snaptags.

Announced a few days ago, Discover has made a big splash on Snapshat. This feature allows users to tap into 12 sources of information (CNN, MTV, Cosmopolitan, DailyMail, Snapchat, B/R, Food Network, National Geographic, People, Vice, Yahoo News, Fusion) that will provide them the ephemeral editorial . Each source will provide some targeted products for users of Snapchat, which will be renewed every 24 hours.


Another innovation appeared with this update is the addition of the new contact request system. The little ghost representing Snapchat logo is surrounded by a QR code specific to each user called Snaptags. When someone points their Snapchat camera at a Snaptags, the app adds the corresponding person as a friend.
